Media refers to the communication channels or instruments used in mass communication to transmit and store information or data. The term describes facets of the mass media communications sector, including print media, publishing, news media, photography, film, broadcasting, digital media, and advertising. The oldest form of media is the print media, which includes newspapers, magazines, journals, newsletters, and other printed material.
